Special Message for our Clients

The Signature Movement is improving quality of life for each of our clients with a full-circle approach. Build the right environment, then fill it with all the right people and things. We help homeowners add equity through custom renovations, source reliable products to update/style the home, and help prospective buyers find and customize properties they can enjoy while the home appreciates in value. A welcoming environment provides a nice backdrop for the people and activity that will fill it.

Currently, we provide design and project management services on renovations. I’d like to expand my business to include construction services. I want my own labor force, which gives me more control over the labor rate for each project and the ability to cover more projects at once. I’m working toward that right now.

But not everybody owns a home, or even wants to. Still, everyone needs a proper environment in order to thrive. So, we produce video content on a variety of lifestyle topics to help you make the most of where you are in life right now. We offer tips like how to use color in your space, how often to freshen up your linens and décor, recipes, self-care tips and other tidbits. Mind, body and home all need care and maintenance to perform for us, to energize us and to help us feel good. The Signature Movement can help with all that.

As a local small business, The Signature Movement cares about our community. Prince George’s County, Maryland has long been home to affluent persons of color. Hard-working, wage-earning and/or self-employed persons who have invested in their places of residence and their county. Recent leadership efforts focused on re-districting, development without infrastructure upgrades and gentrification in neighboring Washington DC threaten our way of life by minimizing our access to emergency services, leaving our schools overcrowded, raising tax rates and driving up home prices. It’s pushing us out if we can’t afford to stay.

My company helps current homeowners build equity through smart upgrades so they stay competitive and can get fair market rate if they choose to sell, rather than selling for pennies and watching someone flip it for significantly more. This benefits those looking to downsize, relocate or age in place. We help prospective buyers find properties they can afford and customize them to be stylish and add equity. That beautifully updated property will still have red flags beneath the surface, revealed through a home inspection. Not one of them is perfect. But you’ll pay as if it were–unless you find a gem and let us customize it for YOU and your lifestyle.

As a Realtor and a homeowner in PG County, my focus is always on helping my clients see the best return on their investment because I see where the market is heading and I want us all to stay ahead of the changes, securing the best value for our properties. I understand what buyers look for, so I can help you implement changes that will appeal to those buyers if you’re looking to sell. I understand how appraisers compare and value certain aspects of a property, so I can help you accentuate the positives that will up your valuation whether your refinancing, selling or holding the property.

Regardless of what city or county our customers live in, the goal is the same–value added. This is not just about pretty tiles and popping paint colors for me. What I do is designed to set my clients up for long-term success whether they go on the market or stay and hold their properties for years to come. Real property is the gift that continues to give back. Take care of it, and it will take care of you and your future generations.

Peace and love,

TDF

  1. I’m sold already, I just need to push a little harder to achieve the desired outcome!
