Hi. My name is Tonya D Floyd, and I’m a workaholic overachiever who lives to solve problems. I became a published author on interpersonal relationships in 2005 because I was working through some things. I started my blog From the Mind of Tonya D Floyd in 2007. My 8th book was published in 2014. The 9th is slowly taking form.
In 2013 I started the Signature Moves podcast about how to develop more successful relationships. In 2015 I took my single, solitary carrot cake recipe and morphed it into many, many different desserts, which birthed Signature Sweets LLC. In 2017 I re-styled my single family home, which reminded me of all the times I helped others design their spaces for free….
I registered Signature Interiors LLC in 2018 and began renovating for a fee. It only made sense to get my real estate license. I became a Realtor in MD & DC in 2018, around the time I quit my Gov’t job of 30 years. I began living my best life shortly after adjusting to self-employment.
